JEEP JK's Rule The Slick Rock

Moab, Utah – Thousands of the nation's JEEPERS have taken over the infamous slickrock in Moab, Utah in celebration of the 41st Annual Easter Jeep Safari. The 2007 event kicked off Monday morning here in Eastern Utah along with the top manufacturers in the off road industry. Led by the BFGoodrich Tires, FOX Racing Shox, Howe Performance, Skyjacker Suspensions, Warn Winch, KC Hi-Lites, Goodyear Tires, Nitto Tires, Donahoe Racing, Campbell Enterprises, Poison Spyder Customs, MasterCraft Seats along with many others who all have trekked from around the United States to the beautiful southwest.

Unlke the past couple years, this season's Easter Jeep Safari has been the recepient of incredible weather. Sunny days have been in the mid-70's with a cool evenings. The town is packed with the off road nation. The JEEP nation have debuted the latest JEEP vehicle to hit the streets of North America in the slang trail name of "JK." One of the greatest so-called silent events of the Easter Jeep Safari is the roll out of the latest in off road industry aftermarket products. Leading the charge this year is the evolution of lift systems and recently developed products for the JK. Along those same lines are the many different products setting the industry on fire this week. In fact, our reporters on the trails during the first two-days of trail rides have reported a burning sensation for many JK owners who have arrived to the Easter Jeep Safari for an up close and personal look at what the nation's manufacturers have brought to Moab.

Moab, Utah offers a huge variety of off road trails ranging from very difficult to an easy going cruise along the river banks of the Colorado River. DIRTnewz tagged along on Tuesday's big PRIMEDIA Trail Ride in the right seat of Poly Performance's President - Dave Schlossberg, who piloted the 2007 Poly Performance JEEP JK fitted with the latest in innovative suspension design.
