Las Vegas, NV (February 20, 2008) – It was no surprise when the newest Dirtsports Magazine was released on February 20, 2008 naming world-class off road champion, Rob MacCachren, as the magazine’s “Driver of the Year – 2007.”  Rob MacCachren has won multiple championships in both CORR, SCORE and BITD over the past 25 years.  In 2007, MacCachren claimed his first SCORE Trophy Truck Championship after teaming up with Riviera Racing and team owner, Mark Post.  Both Post and MacCachren split the driving duties in the #3 Riviera Racing SCORE Trophy Truck and together they won five of nine races when combining SCORE and BITD Desert Racing Series. 

Residing in Las Vegas, Nevada, Rob MacCachren has raced for over two decades. He has been a competitive off road racer plying the deserts of North America as well as captivating CORR fans nationwide. Regarded by his peers as one of the toughest and fastest off road racers in the world, Rob has put together an impressive list of season highlights and career accomplishments since he first climbed behind the wheel of an off road race car.

The 2008 season will see Rob MacCachren continue his racing efforts in both CORR racing a 2008 Dave Clark-built Pro-2 under the Menzie’s Motorsports banner while Rob continues his charge through the desert with SCORE Trophy Truck Champions, Mark Post and Riviera Racing.
