Teammates Reunited As Rock Runner Racing Heads to WE Rock’s PUSU
Rapid City, South Dakota- December 7, 2007: WE Rock’s annual kick-off event in Congress, Arizona, dubbed Put Up or Shut Up will be where Jason Paule and Travis Wadeson of Rock Runner Racing compete together for the first time in nearly a year. Wadeson was tragically injured last April when his car was hit by a semi truck that ran through a red light. The accident left Wadeson with a punctured lung, bleeding in his brain, and an assortment of broken bones including a rib, fibula, and collar bone. Paule continued competing in 2007 with Mark Berger at spotter in Wadeson’s absence.
After months of rigorous physical therapy, Wadeson is ready to return to the rocks. Put Up or Shut Up is the perfect stage for his comeback as a stand alone, winner-takes-all event. Rock Runner Racing has traditionally placed well at past PUSU events and plans to continue that tradition in 2008. Following the competition in Congress, Rock Runner Racing will be campaigning two Twisted Customs buggies (Jason Paule and Travis Wadeson in the Unlimited class and Brian Errea and Joachim Schwiesow in the Pro Modified class) in WE Rock’s rockcrawling series and one buggy (driven by Joachim Schwiesow) in XRRA’s rock racing series.
In addition, the team members and cars will be at several high profile events including King of the Hammers, Moab Easter Jeep Safari, Off Road Expo, Dakota Territory Challenge, and the SEMA Show.
