W.E.ROCK Put Up or Shut Up Shootout
Henderson, NV - November 13, 2007 - Rhino Outdoor International, Inc. (RHOI), which operates outdoor activity based businesses, including wholly owned subsidiary W.E.ROCK Event, Inc., is pleased to report that W.E.ROCK (World Extreme Rock Crawling Series), an off-road competition and event management company, is kicking-off the 2008 Rock Crawling season with the 7th annual "Put Up or Shut Up" competition to be held in Congress, Arizona on January 5th & 6th. The event offers a unique format where competitors from all classes compete head-to-head for the championship and season opening bragging rights.
"This event serves as the traditional launch point for a new season," stated Dustin Webster, Executive Director of W.E.ROCK Event, Inc. "28 teams, driving rigs from all of the various competitive classes will face-off for two days of tough competition over some extremely challenging obstacles - a champion will be crowned at the end of the day on Sunday." The natural, boulder covered course at Congress, located 60 miles northwest of Phoenix, provides teams with the opportunity to test new equipment, practice their driving skills and work out early season bugs in anticipation of the upcoming 2008 rock crawling season. Tickets will be available at various sponsor locations throughout the Phoenix area, and at the gate during the weekend. Camping and RV sites are available for fans planning to attend for the weekend. "Put Up always brings out some of the best teams in the sport", continued Webster. "The format is unique, fun, and a bit loose - and is a great to start the season. Fans have an opportunity to see some of the best competitors in the world do what they do best - crawling some of the best obstacles we see all year." The field is limited to the first 28 teams to register for this always-popular event.
W.E.ROCK is the world's premier sanctioning body for international competition in seven countries across the world and produces the W.E.ROCK Series in the US, which includes multiple eastern and western regional competition events, which culminate in the Grand National Championships held in September.
