Rob MacCachren Steals the WIN and Pulls Ahead in the Points Race to the Championship
Tonights race action put the pressure on everyone involved as drivers, fans, and crew here at Las Vegas Motor Speedway get ready for the final round of TORC Racing tomorrow night. The track conditions proved to be an obstacle as the dust took over and caused two full course red flag conditions during the Pro 2 race. Rob MacCachren now leads over Ricky Johnson by a mere 7 points in the points race and will have to have a strong finish in the final TORC round tomorrow night.

Rob MacCachren takes the win here at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in front of Ricky Johnson. MacCachren will increase his points lead and have to push hard in tomorrow's race in order to be named the 2009 Traxxas TORC Pro 2 Champion after tomorrow's race.

At the green it's Rob MacCachren in the lead as they carefully make their way through turn 1. Taylor gets spun around and falls to the back of the pack. Menzies pulls off the track.
Officials are now watering the track once again to try and get the track under control. They are also adding four more laps to give these drivers a chance to fight for the win. Rob MacCachren leads Ricky Johnson and Scott Taylor around the track.
Jenkins pulls off the track due to right broken suspension. It's Rob MacCachren and Ricky Johnson fighting for the championship now as well as a podium position for tonights Round 11. Full course caution as the dust takes over the track with Rob MacCachren in the lead, Ricky Johnson in second and Scott Taylor in third. Two laps to go...
The green flag has dropped and Taylor holds the pace for the restart of the Pro 2 race. Taylor holds the lead as Johnson looks for a hole to pass VandenHuevel. Todd LeDuc falls back into 10th and looks like he may be having problems and nearly the entire field moves past him.
This change in track conditions and break in the middle of the race will most definately put pressure on the Pro 2's out there on the track. Scott Taylor, who had a 15 truck lead coming into the mandatory caution, will now have to charge hard as Rob MacCachren will sit right behind him at the restart of tonights race.
The course is still a full RED Flag course as officials maintain the track and get the dust down. Can Rob Mac stay in front of his main competition, Ricky Johnson and Todd LeDuc and hold onto the Pro 2 points lead.
Oberg spins and gets stuck on the straighaway. Mandatory Caution is out as the track comes to a full red course to let the dust settle and give course workers a chance to water the track before continuing the race.

Bryce Menzies, DIRTnewz driver, making his way into the hunt as he is door to door next to the #48 of Johnson. The battle heats up for second place between VandenHuevel and Rob MacCachren.
Taylor pushes ahead and takes a commanding lead over the field of 15 trucks. Jeremy McGrath misshifts and blocks Rob MacCachren. It's Taylor, VandenHuevel, MacCachren, McGrath, LeDuc, Johnson in the lead pack.

Kyle LeDuc Fights Hard for the WIN in front of father Curt LeDuc and Scott Douglas
LAS VEGAS, Nevada, (October 23, 2009) - Steve Barlow shot out front early on but took himself out of the hunt as he pulled out of the line up and into the hot pits to change a flat tire allowing Kyle LeDuc to strengthen his lead in front of father Curt LeDuc, Scott Douglas and Johnny Greaves.
Greaves and Douglas went back and forth battling for that third place finish as Rick Huseman settled for the Oakley Bomb Award for the fastest lap and clinched the Pro 4 Championship title, behind named the 2009 Pro 4 TORC Champion.
LAS VEGAS, Nevada, (October 23, 2009) - Marty Hart shot out front early on as Kincaid pushed hard to catch him. Kincaid's wheel came flying off with only 5 laps to go leaving him sidelined. Brandt slid by for second as Currie fought his way through the pack for third.
Kincaid and Hord came into tonights race fighting for the Pro Light points championship, although they both broke and did not finish the race Kincaid finished more laps and will solidify his 2009 Traxxas TORC Pro Light championship. This will be Kincaid's 7th Pro Light Championship of his career.

Marty Hart takes the Pro Light win here at Las Vegas Motor Speedway as the chaos unfolds behind him. Hart also takes the Oakley Bomb award for having the fastest lap of the night. Chris Brandt fought for second and Currie rounds out the podium.
Jeff Kincaid loses a wheel going into turn three as Deegan and Brandt charge hard fighting for second. Kincaid towed into the hot pits. Huseman lawn darts over the table top and endo's hard.
Jeff Kincaid has won 10 Oakley Bomb awards this season and is pushing his truck to the limits here at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in search of yet another fast lap Oakley Bomb Award. Hart leads by 20 truck lengths over Jeff Kincaid.
Maxxas Tires, Marty Hart, holds his lead at the green as Kincaid tries to pass on the inside but Hart holds on as they head through turn 2.

Two more laps under the competition yellow for these Pro Light drivers until they take the green flag once again.
Turn 4 has turned into a dust bowl as drivers slow for the competition yellow with Marty Hart still in the lead in the #15 Southwest Ground Control Pro Light
Chad Hord pulls off the track just after turn three and he will head back to the pits to figure out a solution as he must have a solid finish in tomorrow's race in order to take second place in the points race.
Kincaid begins moving through the field of 16 Pro Light racers as he passes Currie for third place. Leaders are already passing lapped traffic. Current top 5: HART, KINCAID, BRANDT, CURRIE, HUSEMAN
Marty Hart already makes his way into the lead over Chris Brandt in second and Casey Currie in third. The track seems to be extremely muddy as the leaders are heading out onto their third lap and through the muddy turn #3
Green flag racing as trouble already takes place in turn one. Currie takes the lead as these Pro Lights attempt to make it around the muddy track.
Officials are counting down 10 minutes until the start of the Pro Light race.

Officials are grooming the track in preparation for the first ever Traxxas TORC race here at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Get ready for the TORC season finale as we get underway here shortly.
TORC Officials have cancelled the second practice so they can work on improving the track for the race action.
First practice session is under way here at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The track is extremely dusty for 60 percent and the rest of the track is a mud fest. We will catch up with the drivers to see what they think shortly.
Drivers are heading out to the track now for the first practice session of the weekend here at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Race action begins at 9PM with the Pro Lite, Pro 4 and finishing the big show will be the Pro 2's. Stay tuned!!

The big battle this weekend will be in the Pro 2 class as Rob MacCachren leads by a mere four points over Ricky Johnson and Todd LeDuc five points behind Johnson.
Jeff Kincaid has nearly solidified his Pro Lite championship as he leads the points race over Chad Hord by 27 points. If Kincaid finishes in the top 10 both nights here at Las Vegas Motor Speedway he will be named the 2009 TORC Pro Lite Champion.
In the Pro 4 class Rick Huseman leads the race by 28 points over Kyle LeDuc which puts pressure on Huseman to have a solid finish both days in order to maintain the points lead and be named 2009 TORC Pro 4 Champion.
