Rockstar Energy Racing’s Rob MacCachren Climbs to Podium at PERRIS AUTO SPEEDWAY in Front of Packed House of RACE FANS!

Las Vegas, Nevada — Thousands of fans crowded into one of Southern California’s most famous dirt tracks, the Perris Auto Speedway, last weekend to watch their favorite off road racing star battle under the lights in Rounds 3-4 of the 2009 TORC Off Road Racing Series. The fans were not disappointed as fiberglass and steel tube exploded all over the track in the wild Pro 2WD race.

Greaves and McGrath Keep the Podium Hot in TORC Rounds 3 & 4, Greaves Earns First Win of TORC Season in Pro 4X4

Perris, CA (May 31, 2009) - The Monster Potawatomi Toyota team of Johnny Greaves and Jeremy McGrath left Perris Auto Speedway Sunday morning with big smiles on their faces as Greaves earned his first win in the new Traxxas TORC Series on Friday night while McGrath earned another second place spot on the podium in round 4. On the weekend the team racked-up three podiums finishes in front of a big crowd in Southern California and the pair of Monster Toyota’s were a fixture in all the race battles for the lead.

TORC Rounds 3 and 4: Traxxas on Top in Pro Light and Pro 4X4!

Perris, CA (May 29, 30) —THE Traxxas Off-Road Championship set the night on fire at Perris Auto Speedway (PAS) with some of the closest, most action-packed racing seen yet in the Traxxas TORC series. All the nation's top pro drivers were fiercely battling it out for a win with intense door-to-door racing, roaring fans on their feet, and hotly contested lead changes that separated the podium finishers by mere fractions of a second. At the end of the weekend, Traxxas driver Rick Huseman scored a win in Saturday's Pro 4X4 competition while Jeff Kincaid earned the top spot on the podium with a victory in Pro Light. Mike Jenkins (47) ripped up the track in Pro 4X4 with his strongest, most aggressive driving performance to date that was unfortunately cut short by mechanical failures.

Federico Racing Keeps Both Toyotas in the Hunt for the Championship

Wilmette, IL (June 2, 2009) - Federico Racing brought their two Invisible Glass PF Changs-China Bistro TRD Toyota Tacoma PRO-Light trucks to Perris Auto Speedway looking for strong finishes to battle their way into the Traxxas TORC Series presented by AMSOIL PRO-Light season championship points race. Steven Federico and Lee O’Donnell were looking to put their programs in position for a charge up the points chase when they headed for familiar ground in the Midwest.

SCOTT DOUGLAS RACES TO TWO MORE PODIUM FINISHES IN CALIFORNIA TRAXXAS TORC ACTION

Perris, California—Just four starts into the 2009 Traxxas TORC Series presented by AMSOIL Scott Douglas has already finished on the podium three times. That top three consistency has Douglas and the AMSOIL Kumho Ford F-150 third in the Pro 4x4 points chase, just 3-points from second and 18-points out of first with twelve races remaining in the sixteen race schedule.

Team LeDuc Racing Takes on Perris Auto Speedway

The Rockstar Makita Team LeDuc once again took home four podium finishes this past weekend during the second race of The Off-road Race Championship Series presented by Traxxas. The first California event of the eight race series kicked off May 29th and 30th at the celebrated Perris Auto Speedway.

Perris, California — Ricky Johnson isn’t off to a perfect start in the 2009 TORC Series presented by AMSOIL, but he’s about as close as you can get. With four rounds of racing complete, Johnson has won three times and he was second in the other. Clearly, the Barlow Motorsports team has the number 48 Red Bull Off-Road Racing Bosch Power Tool Ford F-150 in winning form and Johnson knows his way to the top of the podium.

“Rocketman Launches Bid for FCP Chairman’s Cup Win”

CRANDON, Wis. – Dan “Rocketman” Baudoux, Hemlock, Mich., has officially registered first for entry into the 16th annual Forest County Potawatomi Chairman’s Cup race. The Chairman’s Cup race is one of the feature events at the upcoming June 20-21 Traxxas Off-Road Championship Series presented by AMSOIL (TORC) Brush Run Races at Crandon International Off-Road Raceway.

The Flying Dutchman Lands on Podium in Round 4

Appleton, WI (June 1, 2009) - The Flying Dutchman Off-Road Race Team is in the learning mode with their brand new Maxxis Tire Auto Trans Design Chevy Silverado PRO-2WD truck. The next step in the process saw team owner and driver, Dan Vanden Heuvel, drive his #77 Chevy on the podium in Round 4 at Perris Auto Speedway.

After two afternoon practice sessions, the crew went to work double-checking every nut on bolt on the truck making sure everything was race ready.

Oberg Shows Potential, Looks to Crandon for Redemption

Eagle River, WI (June 1, 2009) - Mike Oberg brought his #80 AMSOIL Kumho Tire Chevy PRO-2WD race truck looking to end his string of unique on-track incidents that has prevented strong finishes in the opening rounds of the Traxxas TORC series presented by AMSOIL. The weekend on the West Coast saw the race truck perform well, only to come up a little short of expectations.

Taylor Perseveres Through Perris – Stays in Race for Championship

Belvidere, IL (June 1, 2008) - Fresh off his Round Two victory, Scott Taylor and his #8 Skyjacker ATD BFGoodrich Ford F-150 was looking to Perris keep the pressure on PRO-2WD points leader Ricky Johnson. With the assistance of Mike Kasch, Russ Wernimont and the West Coast pit crew. Taylor Racing’s weekend looked very promising, but a missed chassis setup meant a missed opportunity.

The Rockstar Energy / Makita Team LeDuc Ready to Take on Perris Auto Speedway!

The excitement of short-course racing will be back in California this weekend during rounds 3 & 4 of the Traxxas TORC Series! Fans will once again experience the fender-banging action and see the brightest stars in off-road racing as the fun thunders into Perris Auto Speedway on May 29th - 30th in Perris, CA.

Team LeDuc will be hitting the dirt and looking to add to the trophy collection as Curt, Todd and Kyle charge ahead for podiums in the Pro Light, Pro 2WD and Pro 4WD classes. "We are very excited to be back in California and we couldn't ask for a better venue than Perris Auto Speedway. The track looks awesome and it is great to be competing with a group of truly competitive and talented drivers. I am sure there will be some great racing for the fans and the cameras this weekend!" remarked Curt LeDuc.

Crandon, WI (May 26, 2009) – After a battle at the “The Great American Speedway”- the Texas Motor Speedway Dirt Track, the Traxxas TORC Truck Series teams will have the long Memorial Day weekend at to prepare to face stiff competition and new and improved track at Perris Auto Speedway.

Joining the three PRO Truck classes on the TORC circuit in Perris, are several other sportsman classes: PRO Super Buggy, 1600 Buggy, UTV, and both 250 and 450 Off Road Karts. SRT classes will be running a West Coast Triple Crown where three races will constitute a championship, and be awarded at the USAC banquet at the end of the season.
