Terrible Herbst Racing
Rounds Out Podium with Troy and Ed Herbst finishing second
and third respectively
Sunday Pro-4 Webcast
Chula Vista , Calif.—Carl Renezeder held off big charges from Troy Herbst and Ed Herbst to take the win in the final Pro-4 race of the weekend. This win capped a very successful weekend for Carl Renezeder after he drove his #17 Lucas Oil Pro 4 to victory.
The race was full of carnage early as fiberglass flew wild in the first few laps of the race.
Amsoil's Scott Douglas was pushed into the center K-rail and slid sideways along the K-rail before coming to a stop just short of an unaware media photographer. The huge crowd deemed that today was his lucky day as the #7 Pro-4 stopped just short of taking him out.
DIRTnewz-ZIP-TIE Productions Videographer/Chief Editor-Joey Westhoff captured the entire escapade on video and you can watch the action packed footage in a few hours right here on DIRTnewz.com
Johnny Greaves suffered a serious mechanical problem that sidelined him right after the mandatory competitive yellow caution flag. Greaves and Renezeder forced the field to run an extra two caution laps after they could not get lined up .... as they played cat and mouse with each other heading to the start/finish line.
Finally, Greaves lined up next to Renezeder and he still beat him off the line and to the first corner where Greaves took the lead. Greaves luck ran out after he suffered a problem and pulled off the race course when his day ended.

Sunday Pro-Lite Qualifier Webcast
Chula Vista , Calif.—Chad Hord put everything out on the line as he filleted the field of CORR racers and took the victory over Jeff Huseman and Garrit Wallace here on Sunday's Pro Lite final race.
Hord has not raced until this weekend at the 2007 CORR Lucas Oil Series after he opted to race in teh WSORR held in the Mid-West. Hord won the series championship only last weekend at the finale in Wheatland, Missouri and he came directly to Chula Vista to test his skills against CORR's best racers.
Hord crashed during Friday's practice/qualifying session and that put him behind the eight-ball as he and his crew were forced to work through the night in order to repair his truck. The entire front right corner was demolished, but the crew was able to put it all back together for Saturday's big race.
Hord finished in third position during Saturday's race, but he came back to take the big victory on Sunday while beating CORR's top Pro-Lite racers here on their own track. Expect Hord to be racing the 2008 CORR Series in the Pro Lite class.

CORR Pro 4 Jason Baldwin
CUP Qualifier DOMINATED by Johnny Greaves Motorsports in Huge
VICTORY at The Quarry
Chula Vista , Calif.—Amid some 13,000 rabid off road racing fans the CORR Racer Nation took to the dirt and demonstrated why Championship Off Road Racing is the biggest hit in closed course off road racing. Racers such as Scott Douglas, Johnny Greaves, Tim-Ed-Troy Herbst, Adrian Cenni, Rick Huseman, Josh Baldwin, as well as celebrity race car driver, Paul Tracy took to the track in search of victory here at the CORR Pro 4 Jason Baldwin CUP Qualifier.
Dominating the field in one of the most exciting races of the season was Johnny Greaves who drove the Monster Energy Pro 4 race truck to an impressive victory here in Chula Vista, California.
Greaves race hard from the pole position. Johnny got around Rick Huseman early and never looked back. Huseman and Scott Douglas battled door-to-door with Adrian Cenni for most of the race. At the mandatory competition yellow flag the field bunched back up.
Greaves led the field down to the green flag and
he once again jumped to an impressive lead. Coming through
the rhythm section Greaves ran fast over the top of the 80
foot jump that often flys racers some 150 feet from the top
to the bottom. In third position, Adrian Cenni flew high and
when he landed he caught his front bumper on the way down
and flipped end-over-end several times before coming to a
rest at the bottom of the hill. Paramedics were immediately
on scene and Cenni got out of the truck with thumbs up about
10 minutes later.
The race was red flagged and once the race went back to green flag racing Greaves ran away with the huge victory!

CORR Drama Meter at
FULL Tilt for SUNDAY Racing Action
Chula Vista , Calif.—Racers being racers is the "phrase" of the day as the drama continued into the evening within the pits here at The Quarry at Chula Vista International Raceway.
Todd LeDuc and Ricky Johnson faced off not just on the race course during Saturday afternoon's racing action, but they squared off in front of 10,000 plus excited fans at the start/finish line and exchanged cross words that rolled over to the evening.
LeDuc told DIRTnewz that he's over it and he's here to race, but that enough is enough from the SuperCross Champion - Ricky Johnson. Attempts to locate Ricky Johnson within the pits after dark was difficult for the DIRTnewz crew and no contact was made with the superstar.
Curt Greaves strolled over to Adrian Cenni pits to discuss Cenni's tactics when he punted the #22 Greaves truck in turn 4 here at The Quarry. In fact, many teams and people in the pits questioned Cenni's actions throughout the night. Curt Greaves didn't hold back when he blasted Adrian with a paragraph of details regarding his driving during Saturday's big race.
Well folks, that's just the beginning as the nation's top drivers prepare to battle here at The Quarry late this afternoon. DIRTnewz.com will broadcast the race live and provide the webcast afterwards as well. Stay tuned and check back often.
