LUCERNE VALLEY, California - June 27, 2009 –MDR held their annual Bilek Racing 400 today in Lucerne Valley, California where 53 cars headed to the start line including Mark Weyhrich who took the lead early on and powered his class 1 around the 50 mile race course to victory. Weyhrich moved to the lead after only a few miles and averaged 40 minutes per lap to claim the overall victory over Richard Boyle who claimed second and Brian/ Cody Parkhouse who rounded out the top three.

Cody Parkhouse took the wheel in his fathers Parkhouse Motorsports Class 1 for the first time under race conditions and maintained the same lap times as his dad. Be on the lookout for a new driver behind the wheel in Class 1 sure to be moving up in the ranks soon.

In Class 1/2-1600 Paul Kurz took the checkered flag first in the #1620 car.

The hot Lucerne desert took out many racers as the attrition increases as the heat rose to 115 degrees.
