Reno, Nevada (August 25, 2007)- The Nevada desert took its toll on America's top off road desert racers, but the treacherous conditions of extreme heat, deep silt and big rocks did not stop TSCO racers, Mark and Gary Wehyrich from charging to the finish line taking an impressive overall victory from the grasp of Trick Truck racer, B.J. Baldwin. The Wehyrich brothers waged war against the clock and themselves as they pushed the envelope of off road desert racing in a race that played out over the entire 550-mile race course.

B.J. Baldwin and Mark Post/Rob MacCachren entertained the scores of fans strewn alongside the race course beginning outside of Las Vegas and finishing just shy of Reno, Nevada. The two heavyweight Trick Truck racers just plain hauled the mail to near perfection, but both came up just short to take the grand prize of the Nevada desert.

The #3 Riviera Racing Trick Truck suffered a race-ending failure deep inside the engine that put the shiny black truck on the sidelines. BJ Baldwin charged to the lead and appeared to all followers that he was going to take yet another win this season, but Baldwin suffered two flats in the final 15-20 miles traversing the difficult rock section that serves as a final challenge to racers nearing the finish line.

The more nimble and lighter Wehyrich 2-Seat Class 1500 race car fitted with FOX Racing Shox and BFGoodrich Tires made a significant charge in the final 150 miles racing door-to-door against some of desert racing's top racers. The entire TSCO race team saluted the race car as Gary Weyrich as he drove the white and red desert buggy across the finish line in Dayton, Nevada. Hundreds of fans cheered as Gary was met by his brother, Mark, at the finish line and they celebrated the impressive overall victory under the lights of the finish line.

The Wehyrich's company, TSCO, is the primary sponsor for the BITD Vegas to Reno race, so this win marks not only a successful partnership with BITD at the Vegas to Reno race, but a winning tradition for Wehyrich brothers.

Honda's Johnny Campbell and Kendall Norman bested a stacked field of desert motorcycle racers after darting from the start line at 6:30 a.m. Campbell and Norman teamed up to run fast across the desert finishing in the top spot after a brutal 550-mile run. Some experts have remarked that Johnny Campbell's career was over a couple years ago and although he moved into the Team Manager position at Team Honda, this victory sets the bar even higher.

Full results will be published soon.
